The embodiment of speed—Cervelo's P5 Six took form with the help of fluid dynamic software and has dominated Ironman competitions and Grand Tours ever since. An integrated aero fork, a powerful, aerodynamic hydraulic front brake, and the highly customizable, one-piece 3T Aduro stem, base bar and aero extensions all work together to create a front end with world-renowned speed. A shallow front wheel cutout and deep rear cutout reduce the drag coming off your wheels' trailing and leading edges, respectively. This is a custom build featuring SRAM eTAP components and Profile 58 Carbon Clincher Wheels.

The P5 offers multiple storage options, each one specifically positioned to minimize aero drag, so you’re always ready to race. Cables and the battery are completely sheatehd inside the frame’s HiddenPocket for an aero improvement of 10-20 grams.

It also features a horizontal standard two-bolt bottle cage between the arms on the aerobar, which Cervelo has found to be by far the most aero position. Two mounting bolts are also incorporated behind the stem to allow for further aero storage options.

ICS3 (Internal Cable Stops) erradicates the need to run internal cable housing the entire length of the tube, which adds friction and up to 200 grams of dead weight.

Internal Cable Stops on the other hand, function much like external stops. The housing fits into the stops and the bare cables travel in unobstructed paths through the frame, into the bottom bracket cable guide, and straight to the derailleurs.

ICS3 also reduces aerodynamic drag by placing the cable housing entry out of the wind behind the stem. In order to have the cables enter the top tube, yet travel unobstructed through the downtube, Cervelo's ICS3 frames use Teflon-lined stainless steel tubes, curved to guide the cables into perfect alignment with the Bottom Bracket cable guide.

Dropping the down tube “hides” it in dirty air, reducing the high pressure normally found on the down tube’s leading edge, and eliminating the low pressure air that normally pulls rearward on the fork crown.
