Trek rewrote the rule book with their Emonda S 5. Fast, light, and absolute joy to ride, the Emonda is crafted from Trek's vaunted OCLV carbon. Trek's carbon wizards whittled the frame down to just 1,220 grams, and gave it a ride quality that makes every outing simply better. Fast? Shimano and Bontrager have that covered with a complete 105 11-speed group powered by wide range, compact cranks and tubeless-ready wheels. Ditch the tube, say goodbye to flats and feel the road beneath you like never before. Last but not least, the full Bonty cockpit follows the light and fast theme perfectly. This is a lightweight, full-carbon bike that rides like nothing else with legit components and costs around 2k. We don't know how Trek did it, but we're glad they did, and you will be too.

I bought this bike from JP at Village Cycle. He was great and gave many pointers to a new bike rider. This bike is one of the best all around bikes. I take it on daily rides which are a joy. I took it on a 30 mile this weekend which was a breeze. This is a sharp looking, fast bike with many great components for the price......Catch me if you can......
80-100 miles per week and occasional longer rides. This is a light but very solid bike. It was a great step up from my Fuji carbon. My only problem was the Bontrager tires that came with the bike. They flatted several times. I replaced them with Continental Gator Skins which seemed to resolve that problem.
