KEY FEATURES: - Scale Carbon HMF Frame - RockShox Judy 100mm Fork - RideLoc 2 Remote - SRAM NX-SX Eagle 12 Speed - Shimano Disc Brakes - Schwalbe Smart Sam Tires Balancing the ALL-NEW Scale's DNA, we've created a whole new breed in the world of hardtail mountain bikes. A racing inspired geometry, coupled with a straightforward and sharp design provides the all-new Scale 900 line with its distinctive character and aggressive look—a bike that proudly flaunts its definitive characteristics. This rig is ready for just about anything, are you? TECHNOLOGIES: ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE With the new Scale RC, you can adjust the head angle by 0.6 degrees slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding brakes. All you must do is disassemble the bar, rotate the headset cups 180 degrees, and reassemble. DESIGN The new Scale’s design was uncompromisingly subjected to our pursuit of perfection and drive for pure efficiency, strictly following the guiding principle of "Form follows Function". In our search for the ultimate, yet most simple construction, we’ve centered the design around the essentials by balancing the bike’s DNA in order to create a whole new breed of XC bike. The result is a straightforward and clear design, which provides the all-new Scale with its distinctive character and aggressive look: a bike that proudly shows off its characteristics. HOLLOW DROPOUT CONSTRUCTION The dropout features an advanced, hollow construction, which allows the axle head to clamp against the inner surface of the dropout and leaves the head flush with the surface. This enables the lightest possible construction approach and a clean-looking design from the outside. While being able to directly shave off 7.5g with the new dropout construction, the optimized design favors a narrower construction of the rear triangle area, which in turn enables a reduction of 20g in this area of the frame (HMX-SL). MONOCOQUE CONSTRUCTION The new Scale RC’s monocoque construction enables production using only one mold for the main section of the bike, the front triangle. Applying our carbon expertise, the new Scale, therefore, consists of only 3 separate pieces molded together. This directly translates into an increased level of efficiency due to the reduced number of junctions required therefore decreasing weight while keeping superior stiffness – something we’re always aiming for with hardtail race bikes. With the full frame constructed as a system, the monocoque design enables the frame to handle forces as a whole. SERVICE DOOR A little service door, which is accessible through a downtube cover, allows easy access to the interior of the frame without the need to remove the Bottom Bracket. Frame maintenance is made easy with regards to cable routing.

KEY FEATURES: - Scale Carbon HMX SL Frame - FOX 32SC Float Factory 100mm Fork - RideLoc 2 / 3-Position Remote - SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS, PWR Meter - Trickstuff Piccola Disc Brakes - Maxxis Rekon Race Foldable Tires The ALL-NEW Scale RC SL is the perfect blend of stiffness, lightweight, and 30 years of carbon expertise. These characteristics, encompassed in an uncompromising frame design decisively accelerate the Scale away from the pack with every pedal stroke. Whenever you find yourself up against the clock, tip the scales in your favor. SYNCROS FRASER IC COMBO The New Scale features the Fraser iC combo from Syncros. Integrating the cables presents a number of unique problems and the Fraser was designed in part to address this. Syncros’s designers worked on the shape to allow the cables to flow under the bar and around the sides of the stem before disappearing into the headset with integrated plastic parts to keep it clean and efficient. This avoids bends or kinks in the cables and provides a minimalist front end. All our bars and stems feature multiple options for computer, light, and camera mounts both on top or under the bar. DESIGN The new Scale’s design was uncompromisingly subjected to our pursuit of perfection and drive for pure efficiency, strictly following the guiding principle of "Form follows Function". POLYMER INSERTS With the all-new Scale RC, we constantly reduced the amount of metal inserts wherever possible. Instead, lighter polymer versions were incorporated and can be found as the bottle cage inserts on the HMX-SL frames. These can be plugged completely, sitting flush on the frame due to a smart and flexible clipping mechanism. Being able to set up the plugs and mounts needed provides riders with maximum flexibility and further eliminates potential vulnerable points as these are easily replaceable in the event of a damaged thread. Plugs and inserts are easy to set up without the need for additional tools and further contribute to the overall clean design.

KEY FEATURES: - Scale Carbon HMX Frame - RockShox SID SL Ultimate RD3 100mm - RideLoc 2 / 3-Position Remote - SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS, PWR Meter - Shimano XTR Disc Brakes - Maxxis Rekon Race Foldable Tires The ALL-NEW Scale RC World Cup EVO is the perfect blend of stiffness, light weight, and 30 years of carbon expertise. These characteristics, encompassed in an uncompromising frame design decisively accelerate the Scale away from the pack with every pedal stroke. Whenever you find yourself up against the clock, tip the scales in your favor.

When you think of the perfect mountain bike, what comes to mind? For us, it's the Spark 930. Why you ask? Well, beyond the fact that it is fast, lightweight, and ultra-capable on all sorts of terrain, it's just damned good-lookin'. Short-travel trail bike? "Downcountry" rig? Occasional race bike? Whatever, call it what you want to call it. All we know is that this is one hell of a mountain bike. KEY FEATURES - Spark Carbon HMF-Alloy Frame - FOX 34 Float Rhythm 130mm Fork - FOX Nude 5T EVOL, TwinLoc, 120mm - Shimano XT-SLX 12 Speed - Shimano Deore 4 Piston Disc Brakes - Schwalbe Wicked Will Tires TECHNOLOGIES: EVO-LAP TECHNOLOGY With the proper selection of materials, eighty percent of the work to create a frame is done. But the remaining twenty percent requires most of our efforts. For this reason, our choice of the most advanced carbon fibers in the market is followed by intensive use of specific tools, like FEA (finite element analysis) software, to map out the carbon lay-up. With FEA software, we can simulate different forces on a virtual model of the frame and adjust the frame construction accordingly. FEA software enables us to create complete virtual prototypes incorporating all the physical phenomena that exist in real-world environments. With our Evo-Lap technology we model the frame to optimize the surface area, simulate tube structures with different ply orientations, observe the results of using different configurations, and test the stress distribution in different areas of the frame. Thanks to this extensive computer modeling, we’ve optimized the carbon layers in all the parts of our frame. When the parts were bonded together in the first prototypes, the result was a super light and compact frame without sacrificing the stiffness, comfort or impact resistance. The entire range benefitted from our Evo-Lap technology. ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE With the new Spark, you can adjust the head angle by .6 degrees slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding brakes. All you must do is disassemble the bar, rotate the headset cups 180 degrees, and reassemble. EASY SHOCK ACCESS Accessing the shock via the bottom bracket area is facilitated through a hatch. This makes it easy to adjust rebound, compression, shock pressure, and for installing or replacing the cable for our TwinLoc Suspension System. PATENTED INTEGRATED SUSPENSION SYSTEM An integrated shock platform allows us to refine suspension characteristics without sacrificing weight. Often, when working with bikes at this level, the concept of marginal gains becomes an ever important one. For the optimal performance of a suspension shock, power transfer must be the most direct possible. What we want to avoid are any inefficient directional movements, in other words, lateral movements (sideways to the direction of travel) as the shock goes through its compression. Having an integrated shock allows us to improve this in several ways. Firstly, the frame construction around the shock and with the trunnion mount can be designed to be much more rigid, reducing movement and fostering more efficient power transfer. We can also add much larger bearings to the seat tube pivot, further reinforcing this area and reducing any unnecessary motion. Our integrated Suspension technology also helps us to engineer frames with a lower shock placement which lowers center of gravity. As a result, the bike benefits from better handling, and a more stable, confidence-inspiring ride for the end user. While these may seem like minor improvements individually, the sum of their parts results in more efficient shock performance. Additionally, the shock is fully protected from any foreign elements. Rainy race? No problem, your shock will continue to perform at its best regardless. REAR AXLE TOOL Our rear axle tool has been a staple on our bikes for years, it is now better than ever. It features a T25, T30, and a 6 Allen key all in one. With these three options, you can adjust all pivot hardware and nearly everything else there is to adjust on the bicycle. SINGLE PIVOT SUSPENSION LAYOUT A full-suspension bike will never have success without, well, good suspension design. From the first time we rode the Spark’s single pivot layout we fell in love. Years later, we still believe that for technical cross-country racing and fast, punchy singletrack it is the best approach. The Spark’s suspension layout has a very specific and proven kinematic and less unsprung mass. Using a flex pivot in the seat stay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This allows us to keep a very lightweight system while still ensuring optimal suspension performance. Please note that bike specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

The best handling trail bike ever. The 5010 is not just "the little bike" of our range. It makes even the most mundane trails feel like they're loaded with features to hop, skip, and jump over. It's like having super-skills at your fingertips. The 5010 has always been more capable than many expected but with the traction-gaining 29-inch wheel up front and even more refined suspension, the 5010 gives you a deft touch on the trails. Design Details: - VPP™ VPP™ suspension can be optimized to strike the right balance between pedaling efficiency and all-out bump-chomping prowess. That means wherever you see "VPP™" you know it's tuned to perform exactly how it should for the purpose it's designed for. - 130mm VPP™ travel Some call it short travel, others call it all the travel you'll need. This much travel isn't going to help shrug off the biggest, fastest rock gardens like a V10 downhill race bike, but it's going to feel like you've got a V10 under the hood of your motor when it comes to freeway freestyling miles. - Traction and big hits For 5010, we wanted to balance support and grip to maximize the bike’s descending and big-hitting capability. We started with a significantly less anti-squat (than the previous generation 5010) to provide sensitive, ground-tracking qualities and reduced pedal kick. - Support and playfulness We gave the 5010 a very straight, highly progressive leverage curve to give the rider plenty of predictable support, bottom-out resistance, and playful response. This means the travel is accessible and higher impacts aren’t as jarring as you’d expect from a short-travel bike.

A Fair Advantage We tapped into everything we’ve learned from years of making the highest quality carbon full-suspension bikes and added the super-efficient Superlight™ suspension to make a World Cup-winning XC race bike. The Blur isn’t guaranteed to make you a race winner but being the lightest, full-suspension carbon XC bike we’ve ever made, it might be the difference between claiming first place...or just crossing the line. Design Details: - SRAM Eagle Transmission - stronger, better shifting, wirelessly The next generation SRAM Eagle Transmission specced on our CC-carbon models is a radically robust, fully integrated, and interdependent wireless transmission. Built around the universal constant of the wheel axle itself, the Full Mount hangerless attachment creates a far stronger connection to the frame and the super strong derailleur provides unprecedented strength. Shifting under load is made possible due to a combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping, creating seamless shifts even during your hardest power output. The new AXS Pods are extremely ergonomic and highly customizable, so shifting gears is light and intuitive. It's simply the most advanced transmission and nearly as tough as the mountain itself. - XC or TR The TR builds feature more travel (115mm rear, 120mm front) slightly beefier tires (Maxxis Rekon), a full height adjust dropper post, no lockout remote, and larger brake rotors. It's not a trail bike, it's an XC bike for certain courses. - Light Carbon Frame The full-suspension Blur is lighter than most pre-race dinners you'll eat - 289g saving over the previous generation. - Reserve 28 XC wheels This is the lightest Reserve MTB rim (385g or 1367g complete). The rim bed is shallower and wider, meant for the newer generation of higher volume XC tires which are popular with elite racers. - Geo to match The Blur's chainstay length is matched to frame size so every rider, no matter their height, gets the same balanced geometry and bike fit. - Two water bottles Two water bottle mounts within the front triangle mean there's enough juice (or whatever electrolytes you choose) to keep the engine running. - No proprietary gubbins There are no fiddly proprietary parts that could leave you stranded in a Cape Epic or Breck Epic campsite. - Made to last many lifetimes The legendary Santa Cruz fit, finish, and quality construction put this into a league of its own. The frame, bearings, and optional Reserve wheels come with a lifetime warranty and any service is easy to do with our Rider Support pledge. - Chainguide The only thing you'll be dropping is your competitors. - Superlight™ Suspension Our priority with the Blur was to ensure that every kilojoule of a rider's energy is translated into forward thrust. That meant making something lightweight but also really efficient. This is the (super)lightest suspension we've ever made. Frame Sizing If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with. If riding the bike is not an option, consider the following. Personal Preference A larger size frame will be more stable and will give you more room to move without upsetting the weight balance of the bike. The larger size will put the front wheel further in front of you, which gives the feeling of security and conversely, it will require more significant body movements when you WANT to shift the weight bias of the bike. Think hard about your riding style and how active/intuitive you want it to be vs. stable and speedy. You'll need to work a bit harder to muscle the larger bike around. Body Dimension Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.

Each weekend, at race venues the world over, there is one rider who gets hoisted upon the shoulders of the crowd and carried to the podium. Or at least leaves with a water bottle as their prize. And between each of those races, innumerable wannabes are putting in the hours on the rollers and in the gym all because they want to feel what it's like to take the win. They know that to beat the pack every advantage needs to be acquired. That's where the Blur fits in. We tapped into everything we've learned from years of making the highest quality carbon full-suspension bikes so that we could put as little (weight) as possible into the Blur frame. The trim frame and super-efficient Superlight suspension will be the key to translating your input into competition beating performances. But the Blur isn't just for the short track. Two water bottle mounts within the front triangle should keep chuggers happy. And the high quality fit, finish and carbon construction promises multi-day racers a worry free existence—meaning there's no fiddly proprietary parts that could leave you stranded in a Cape Epic or Breck Epic campsite. The carbon frame, while being light, is made to go the distance and as always the legendary Santa Cruz lifetime warranty and Rider Support team has got your back. The Blur isn't guaranteed to make you a race winner but being the lightest, full-suspension carbon XC bike we've ever made (Approx 23lb as complete. Blur frame is 289g lighter than the previous model) it might be the difference between claiming first place...or just crossing the line.

A Fair Advantage We tapped into everything we've learned from years of making the highest quality carbon full-suspension bikes and added the super-efficient Superlight suspension to make a World Cup-winning XC race bike. The Blur isn't guaranteed to make you a race winner but being the lightest, full-suspension carbon XC bike we've ever made, it might be the difference between claiming first place...or just crossing the line. SRAM Eagle Transmission - stronger, better shifting, wirelessly The next generation SRAM Eagle Transmission specced on our CC-carbon models is a radically robust, fully integrated and interdependent wireless transmission.

Santa Cruz's most notorious thriller, the Bronson, is ready for action no matter what role it's cast into. The Bronson has the biggest personality in our range. From flat-out on the trail to fully flat over a table, each new generation redefines expectations of what a 150mm bike can do. The new lower-link mounted shock configuration opens up greater possibilities for maximum bump performance, a supportive mid-stroke, and a barely detectable bottom out. It's like our most capable all-around bike just had a set of afterburners bolted on. With 150mm of VPP travel on 27.5-inch wheels, the Bronson continually rides the sharp edge between agility and stability. Ideal for negotiating tech-gnar one moment and fast flowing terrain the next, the 160mm fork travel and 65-degree head angle ensure handling remains refined. Meanwhile, the redesigned, one-piece swingarm keeps the rear wheel tracking on point, however twisted you get. There's plenty of room to run up to 2.8-inch tires on plus rims. We offer build kit options for "regular" 27.5 and Plus-size, using 2.6 tires. It feels like the sorta big is the sweet spot between the Velcro-like traction of plus tires and the traditional feel of a supportive casing on standard-width tires. Its versatility makes Bronson the go-to choice for those seeking a skeleton key to unlock unfamiliar trails.

If in doubt, take a Bronson out. You know what's hard about choosing what model of Santa Cruz suits you? It's having to narrow down what kind of riding you want to do. But what if you don't want to be pinned down by labels? What if you want to just be a mountain biker in the broadest sense of the word? What if you want to choose how you ride rather than what to ride? If this sounds familiar, then try a Bronson. Our demo crew have a saying, 'If in doubt, take a Bronson out'. The 150mm-travel bike can go deep on any landing and the VPP suspension design makes sure that there's no wasted energy when heading back up for another go. If you value style at speed or want to have fun feeling fast, then mixed wheels (29" up front, 27.5" out back) show that the spectrum is a loop, not opposite points on a scale. The larger front wheel provides more traction and stability that'll make you feel more confident squaring off the turns and diving for the inside lines. But a 27.5-inch tire in the rear means this bike still loves getting up on the back wheel and into the air. From flat out on the trail to fully flat over a table, each generation of Bronson rider redefines expectations of what a mountain biker is. The Highball is our flagship carbon hardtail race thoroughbred, and a dark horse in XC versatility. More capable than a pure endurance bike, more composed than most XC race-rigs, the Highball has evolved to be easier to ride harder for longer. We fine-tuned the carbon layup process and the low-angle, bridgeless seatstays join the seat tube below the top tube junction in order to curb trail chatter. Built around a 27.2mm diameter seat post, the whole package combines to take the "hard" out of hardtail riding. It has the mindset of a race bike but it's prepared for more. With capacity for three bottle cages, the ever-reliable threaded BB and, of course, the lifetime warranty that comes standard with all Santa Cruz bikes, it's the kind of bike that'll go far.

Our greatest hits compiled into one bike. Just hit play. If ever a bike resembled your most cherished mix tape compilation, the Hightower is it. Featuring our lower-link mounted shock design, updated, adjustable geometry, this "Engineering Best Of..." assembles some of our biggest design pleasers into one belter of a road-trip companion. The Hightower has been a does-it-all-well trail bike since its inception. More maneuverable than its longer-travel sibling, the Megatower, and more at home in the steep-and-chunky than its snappy cousin Tallboy, Hightower excels when the route covers 'all points in between,' and descents come courtesy of some big-ass climbs. The VPP suspension's lower-link-mounted shock creates a nearly linear leverage curve, meaning it mops up bumps of all sizes and maintains the kind of progressivity normally reserved for our V10 DH bike! 145mm of rear travel complemented by a 150mm front end gives Hightower just a bit more front and rear travel over the first generation model. Combined with a slacker 65-degree head tube angle, the Hightower still sits squarely in the Goldilocks zone, but with a touch more "Oh sh*t, get me out of here" capability when the porridge gets too hot! Balancing stiffness and weight savings in all the right places is a hallmark of all Santa Cruz carbon frames, and the Hightower flies the flag yet higher. The advanced composite chassis tracks well across all trail surfaces, holds a line, and is reactive to rider directions while isolating pedal-influenced inputs. The Hightower also has a bonus disc to heighten the experience: the flip chip. In the High setting, the BB height is a little higher for those tricky tech trails and/or when Plus sized tires are required. In the Low position, the shock rate is more progressive to provide additional bottom-out resistance. Whatever mood you're in, the tone of the Hightower can be adapted to meet your individual taste. And, speaking of taste, there's room for a water bottle inside the main frame and a threaded BB for convenience. There's refined cable routing for better shifting performance, simpler installation, and no cable rub. On top of that, there's a tailgate shuttle guard, downtube protector, shock fender, and noise-canceling chainstay protector to keep things quiet. The lifetime frame warranty and lifetime pivot bearing replacement policy assure you that the Hightower will keep delivering the hits for years to come.
