Outerwear

$139.99
Just like the name says, we wanted to create the ideal simple emergency rain jacket. We made it completely waterproof and compact, and, as you'd expect from Castelli, we also gave it an amazing on-bike fit, yet it's still roomy enough to fit over a Gabba. It has all the trappings of a performance rain jacket, with the waterproof zipper, long tail, long sleeves, and wrist closures that can go over gloves, yet we knew you wouldn't want to break the bank with it, so the only real compromise compared to our top-of-the-line offerings is in breathability. We kept the styling toned down and added a bright colorway in Fiery Red so that you can easily use this as a commute jacket and still look great when you get to the office. If you're going to wear it over office attire you may want to go up one size. - Deluge Light 2.5-layer waterproof fabric keeps rain off with 10,000 mm water column - Slight amount of stretch for excellent fit in riding position - Folds into half a jersey pocket for emergency situations - Stuff pocket integrated into mesh vent at top of back - Waterproof zipper and contrast seam sealing keep water out - 360° reflectivity

We engineered a new 3D thermal fabric that provides extra warmth and comfort. This piece offers lots of layering options in your wardrobe: use it alone in mild conditions, layer it under a vest in cool conditions, or put it under a jacket for your coldest rides. The extra-high collar has our Zen construction to protect the neck, while the Vislon zipper is the easiest-sliding zipper available. - Nido d’Ape 3D thermal fabric on main body and sleeves - Cross-wrap flat wrist openings - YKK Vislon zipper with scorpion pull - Zen collar to protect neck from top of zipper - 3 rear pockets with a perforated reflective band for extra visibility - 12°-18°C / 54°-64°F - Weight: 279g

This jacket does three things really well: the Tempesta Stretch fabric provides full waterproof protection, the four-way stretch makes it fit any body type, and it looks great on and off the bike. Compared with our more expensive GORE-TEX Idro jackets, you give up the best-in-class breathability and extreme packability, but you gain a stretch fit and increased durability. We developed the fabric to our own specifications to make a jacket that is fully waterproof, comfortably stretchy, packable enough to fit in a jersey pocket, and with an appearance and hand that make it look great. This is meant to be a rain shell worn over a jersey, so we've forgone the external pockets and kept the construction simple to minimize seams. We've given it a vent on the back to prevent overheating, a covered zip to keep spray out, and reflectivity for safety. - Tempesta Stretch fabric with windproof PU membrane provides 10,000 mm waterproofness with 20,600 g/m2/24h breathability - Taped shoulder seams for waterproofing - Stretchy for an extremely comfortable fit that moves with you - Packable enough to fit in a jersey pocket - Covered easy-sliding YKK Vislon zipper - Extra-long tail for protection from wheel spray - Vent on back - Reflective stripe at the lower back

This jacket is the perfect companion to a Velocissimo or Entrata tight for cool fall days or even full winter for those of you living in warmer climates. For the front of this jacket, we've used the same fabric as on our pro-level Gabba jacket, but in this case, we've paired it with a fleece back for extra breathability and we've given it a more generous cut for easier wearing. The details are there, from the perfectly placed and sized three rear pockets to the silicone gripper elastic and the YKK Vislon zipper for easy opening and closing. Make the transition from summer to fall easier than ever. - GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER X-Mid front and sleeves for wind protection with exceptional breathability - Warmer fleece fabric on back for additional breathability - YKK Vislon zipper - 3 rear pockets - Embossed logo on chest with reflective stripes for visibility - Reflective panel below pockets for maximum visibility

WIDER COMFORT RANGE |With warmer fall and spring temperatures, or if you're lucky enough to live where winter means mild conditions, this jacket is ideal for those days when it's not cold enough to cover your ears. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER mid-weight fabric on the front keeps the wind at bay, while our fleecy Warmer fabric on the back allows moisture and excess heat to escape. It provides a surprising amount of protection without causing overheating. You can also add an insulating layer underneath and use it in quite cold conditions. - Our lightest jacket for fall or light winter riding - GORE-TEX INFINIUM X-Mid front and sleeves for wind protection with exceptional breathability - Warmer fleece fabric on back for additional breathability - Asymmetrical YKK Vislon zipper - 3 rear pockets - 8°-16°C / 46°-60°F - Weight: 285g

As summer turns to autumn we still have a few months of amazing riding, but when we have to start dressing warmer we miss the freedom of wearing just a jersey. That's why we made this jacket. We used the lightest, stretchiest fabrics we have to make a jacket that cuts out most of the wind, remains highly breathable, provides remarkably high levels of water protection, and just basically disappears so you don't really notice it. This is a performance piece, so we've kept it focused on the task at hand. There's nothing superfluous on it unless you consider the big reflective panel on the back to be unnecessary. We don't. We've given it a close-to-body fit so there's no fabric flapping in the wind, which also helps keep the jacket warmer. The pockets are generous and easily reachable, the zip slides easily, and the logo is discreet. - Polartec NeoShell 4-way-stretch fabric on front and upper sleeves is windproof, waterproof and highly breathable - Nano Flex Light woven fabric on the back is highly breathable while blocking wind and splashes from light rain or wet roads - Close-to-body cut remains very comfortable thanks to 4-way stretch of all fabrics - YKK Vislon zipper is easy sliding for quick ventilation control - 3 rear pockets - Large reflective panel at lower back

This jacket is about the art of dressing just right for cool conditions. We're talking about those days when you need some protection from the cool air but not enough to bring out the winter jacket. Overdress and you'll be sweating and get cold because you're wet. Underdress and you never fully warm up to enjoy the ride. The concepts behind the construction are fairly simple: wind protection on front-facing surfaces, highly breathable fabrics on back-facing surfaces, and all-around water repellency in case you get a few drops of rain. But what makes this jacket spectacular is how we executed these simple concepts. The wind protection comes from our GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER lightweight two-way-stretch fabric that moves with you while being so light you'll hardly notice it's there. This light wind layer is backed by a separate ProSecco Strada inner layer with a separate zip that can be opened independently for perfect ventilation control. The back is made from our Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric that provides a good level of insulation yet has no membrane so allows for ample amounts of sweat to escape. The fit is close to the body so there is no fabric flapping around, while the little details make the difference: easy-sliding YKK zippers, reflective drain holes on the pockets, a lie-flat silicone gripper band around the waist. All these features are why this jacket is consistently named a favorite among Castelli staffers. We think it will be one of your favorites too. - GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER 150 fabric on front and sleeves for wind protection with high breathability and effective rain protection - Nano Flex Xtra Dry on the back for more ventilation allows heat and sweat to escape while shedding rain thanks to a nanotechnology water-repellent finish - Alpha double-layer construction separates the windproof layer from an insulation layer, allowing better ventilation management - Inner layer in ProSecco Strada for lightweight insulation with effective moisture management - Double YKK Vislon front zippers - Front zippered pocket - 3 rear pockets with reflective laser-cut drain holes - Raw-edge waist lies flat and moves with you

This jacket is a game changer. To call it a rain jacket is only touching the surface. While it's an outstanding rain jacket, we end up using it 95% of the time in dry conditions because it's so compact that we always have it in our center pocket, ready to put on for a long, cold descent, or to cover up at a coffee stop, or to keep some heat in while waiting for the other guys to show up for the ride. We named this jacket Idro 3, which at first doesn't say much, but let's break it down. Idro is Italian for "hydro," meaning having to do with water. Or in this case, keeping water from coming in while letting sweat escape. It does both very, very well. Best we've ever made. The 3 in the name indicates this is the third iteration of this product, and we're nearing the maximum of what's possible with a shell jacket. There's a big innovation on the back, with a large high-stretch GORE-TEX panel that allows us to give the jacket a trim fit (i.e., no flapping fabric, so you can just ride away from your riding companions), yet the jacket expands to fit around loaded pockets — or to fit normal people with a bit of a gut. Beyond the stretch panel, we've carefully refined the fit, the finishing construction, the large reflective panels, and especially the wrist closures with a new internal gaiter. We've made this jacket to be as fully featured as possible when you wear it, but it will spend a lot of time in a pocket on those days when it might rain or when you just need it to cover up on long alpine descents. It weighs less than many jerseys and stashes away to occupy only half a jersey pocket. There is one drawback: the fabric is so lightweight that it is a little bit fragile, so treat it with care. It'll be one of the most important pieces in your cycling wardrobe. - The lightest and most packable fully waterproof Castelli GORE-TEX jacket - GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ product technology sheds water yet offers unmatched breathability - The entire lower back is in GORE-TEX Topo stretch fabric to expand in diameter if you have a few extra winter kilos or full pockets - Reflective tape on back of both sleeves for high visibility in low-light conditions - YKK Vislon waterproof zipper slides easily for ventilation adjustments - Internal wrist gaiter seals wrist and integrates with glove to keep water out
