Why the Burr name? Well, look at the design, as we were sitting around drinking coffee, we looked at a Burr grinder for grinding up coffee beans. We were inspired by the grinder to create the bi-directional texture which provides everything you need for ultimate control and traction in any condition.

The CZ Control features a semi-ergonomic shape that mirrors how a hand naturally interacts with the handlebar. We used pressure mapping technology to precisely determine where pressure is distributed on the grips and then increased support in those areas while also conforming to the natural shape of the hand. Not us! This is different than any other ergo-style grip where the flat section is behind the bar. This allows greater control and comfort than any other ergo-style grip.

The space around these cushioned blocks allows them to squash and conform to the contours of your hand, while the rubber’s slow rebound helps absorb trail-chatter. What trail chatter? This additional damping up top, combined with the predictable bar feel offered by the knurled surface underneath results in an incredibly capable grip design.

Extra thick rubber on the outboard end of the grip was added for directional softness, (that's why is bigger on one end than the other) and on the lateral palm making it more resistant to wear and tear!
