Details

Yes, Felt's F3 is light, stiff, and fast. Its full-carbon frame and fork feature unique shaping and sizing for excellent strength, stiffness and lightness, which translates to one seriously quick ride. Adding to that speed, this machine is built up with SRAM's top-of-the-line Red components for smooth pedaling, flawless shifting and braking as well as awesome reliability. You'll also look good rolling on SRAM's sleek S30 wheels and Felt's light carbon handlebars and seatpost. With the F3, you have a ride so nice you may never want to stop.

Felt F-Series Carbon FrameFelt's F-Series Carbon frames are built around a semi-compact frame geometry that's fast, stiff and light. All tubes are frame-size specific, ensuring an optimal ride for every rider. Felt's ControlTaper tapered steerer provides unmatched front-end stiffness and steering response. Plus, Felt's Integrated Bridge Technology allows shorter chainstays that directly join the large-radius, BB30 bottom-bracket shell for optimal power transfer, while Felt's smooth-blended mono seatstay adds strength and comfort.

Felt's Modular Monocoque Construction method begins by molding the front triangle, seatstays and chainstays as individual pieces, allowing each component to be manufactured specifically for its individual requirements. The pieces are then fused together with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined look. Also, different shapes, tube thicknesses and diameters are used throughout to maximize stiffness where needed, minimize overall weight and damp vibrations for an awesome ride.

      Comments:

Great Value. Upgrade the crank and wheels and you have a bike you can race all season. The F3 accelerates with snap, is a willing climber, and predictable in the twisty stuff.

        Comments:

Great for climbing, sprinting, open road riding. I can truly tell a difference in each of these "arenas", especially on climbs - the power transfer is great. Great component set and light frame. Total bike is only 17 lbs and is upgradeable in terms of wheelset, saddle, etc. Can easily be modified to enter the ultra-light arena of around 14 pounds.
